Lot Description:Hill - An early 19th century naive painting
depicting a river estuary, a church on the hill, a fisherman tending to his sails, etc. English; done in oil on artist card, 16 x 24cm, and signed “Hill” at lower right; verso with inscription including “The Misses Hill present their best regards to the Misses Brett and they will favour them by their company to Tea on Friday next., Monday Morning, Littlebourn Cottage.....” -
