  each of rectangular form set with two pairs of double doors, opening to reveal a single shelf on the interior, the exterior decorated with scenes of maidens at leisure in pavilion gardens, one maiden dancing to music played by others whilst their companions sit and listen, the sides with a bird on a flowering peony branch and the top with cranes beside the Three Friends, pine, prunus and bamboo, metal lock plates, locks, hinges and pulls each cabinet
