  October 1855 land grant to EDWARD JOHN DAWES of a Township allotment in York Town, Van Diemen’s Land, signed and sealed by the Governor, SIR HENRY EDWARD FOX YOUNG. (The price of £16/10/- is detailed in manuscript and a map illustrating the grant is shown at left; also signed by William HENTY, Colonial Secretary. 40 x 69cm.
• Notes:
  The land was on Aldridge Street to the north with the West Arm of the Tamar River to the south.
