  WORLD WAR ONE: group of items relating to Lieut. Edwin Bennett “Ted” Spargo of 6th Battalion AIF
  comprising suitcase with gilt inscription ‘”Lieut E.B.Spargo/6th Battn/A.I.F”, plus three books including “War Services of Old Melburnians 1914-1918” (Melbourne Church of England Grammar School) by J. Beacham Kiddle (1923), with biographies of pupils, including Spargo, who served during The Great War.
  Lieut. Spargo, was killed in action at Gallipoli in an attack on a German Officers’ Trench on 6-7th August 1915.
