• Notes:
  Ningura Napurrula was born c. 1938 at Watulka, south of the modern Kiwirrkurra Community in Western Australia. Ningura was married to the late Yala Yala Gibbs Tjungarrayi with whom she moved to Papunya in its early days of settlement. This design is associated with the water soakage site at Marrapinta. This is a women's business site, where the younger women are instructed on how to conduct themselves in accordance with tribal law.
