Lot Description:A Large Highlands Ceremonial Wig, Enga Province, Papua New Guinea
Enga people have the largest wigs in PNG. This one is decorated principally with eagle wings, and eagle feathers - but also a large cassowary topknot, other bird feathers, and green scarab beetle headband. In the centre is a bailer shell forehead decoration.
