  Wheel-thrown tea bowl of simple traditional form, providing the ideal 'canvas' for his virtuoso natural fly ash glaze effects. The golden sheen of both the interior and exterior walls is extremely difficult to attain and most prized, and the effect is highlighted by the supremely controlled dark ash deposits in the floor of the bowls well.
