  Wheel-thrown Korean style tea bowl of a coarse pale flashing Hagi clay and with a variable white rice-hull ash glaze with some areas of tea staining through use.
  H 8 cm Dia 12.7 cm
• Provenance:
  Private collection.
• Notes:
  Hirose Tanga was born in 1939 and is still working from his kiln, Tenpozan-gama. He has exhibited widely in Japan and elsewhere and his work is held by the Brooklyn Museum in the USA.
