    MORI Teisai (1949-) - A Japanese Bizen High Shouldered Sake Flask, Katatsuki Tokkuri c. 1990
    Wheel-thrown broad hipped sake flask with a narrow neck and refined mouth. One side has been depressed and marked. Placed in the kiln with the base facing the ash flow andresting on the depressed surface to protect it from ash deposits, resulting in heavy goma sesame seed deposits on base and facing side and botamochi effects (variable two toned ash deposit) on the protected side.
