A Japanese Bizen Turnip Form Sake Flask, Kabura Tokkuri, circa 1970 Mori Tozan 1938- Bizen, Okayama
Wheel thrown stoneware tokkuri in the classic turnip form and with incised banding around the bulbous waist. Variable goma ash deposits, and with traces of green ash deposit glaze in grooves. Interior with grey glaze.
H 20 cm Dia 12 cm
Potter's early period stamp to base.
