Lot Description:A Rare Carved Sculpture of Dakini Vajravahari, the Wrathful Female, the Diamond Sow, Mustang, Northern Nepal, 18th/19th Century
painted in red, & yellow vegetable & mineral pigments, Dakini Vajravahari Dorje Phagmo is standing in a dancing posture on a human corpse holding a kartika and a human skull, with the distinguishing iconographic attribute of the sows head crown, a lotus flower throne & surrounded with a flamed aureole.
