Lot Description:A Very Rare Carved Sculpture of the Two Armed Wrathful, Hayagriva, Tam-drin, Consecrated, Mustang, Northern Nepal, 18th/19th Century
the Bodhisattva painted with vegetable and mineral pigments in red, yellow & black with three glaring eyes, holding the sceptre and the lotus flower, crowned with skulls and the horse head, wearing a lower garment of tiger skin, seated on a lotus flower pedestal, the king of secret accomplishment.
