• Notes:
  "This work represents a time in our life when we were living in Queensland. City people exhibition at Philip Bacon was the first major show of large-scale charcoal drawings ever done. It was a tremendous success and this work was one of the only few to remain in my collection. Bob gave it to me at the time as he felt it captured something unique about our lives. We both shared many musicians as friends, and it has always had a special meaning as we were to later move to Noosa where Bob was invited to do the posters for the Noosa jazz festivals. This work is in great condition and for me is a reminder of the nostalgic brass band days," Jenny Dickerson.
