Reproduced in 'Robert Dickerson: The Complete Graphics,' by Louisa Powell p.9. "Bob was the son of a tinsmith and this work always conjures up in my imagination the sort of balletic relationship between the skill forging the tin and the reality of the working class. It's a wonderful image that uses chiaroscuro effectively. It is very rare to have a work available that is the study for what has become a highly collectable graphic work," Jenny Dickerson.
