• Notes:
  The late Judith Murray (nee Wakelin) believed that this portrait was painted in New Zealand just prior to Roland relocating to Sydney in 1912. This being the case, Roland would have likely travelled with this work on his journey. The painting was subsequently exhibited at Robin Brady Gallery, Woollahra, Sydney, in 1991.
