Notes:

Schlesinger created several posters for Qantas in the 1960s and ‘70s. The “Noumea” poster is rarely seen. He was born in Egypt and arrived in Australia in 1952 as a teenager. He studied sculpture with Tom Bass, and painting and drawing at the Julian Ashton Art School.
