Bartlett; with descriptions by William Beattie”, unpaginated with numerous steel engraved plates, tissue guards intact, intermittent browning/spotting to the gilt edged pages, handsomely rebound in velvet cloth, with metal book corners & decorative monogram, gilt titles to spines; also “The National Portrait Gallery of Illustrious and Eminent Personages” in four volumes published Peter Jackson, Late Fisher, Son & Co (London,1846), similarly rebound to the previous title.
