  gouache / oil on board measures 46.5 x 59cm framed Image 31.5 x 44.5cm Signed, dated and initialed lower right and title on lower left.
• Notes:
  A political cartoon satirist, Frank Beck was part of the Studio of Realist art in Sydney illustrating for Associated Newspapers and various books and novels throughout his career. A self taught artist, proficient in numerous mediums including oil, gouache, printmaking and poster, Frank Beck created a diverse body of work. Both his cartoons and his finer landscape works can be found in collections both Australian and international. This work comes handsomely framed in non-reflective glass, bearing the artists signature, initials and date.
