    A very rare Chinese famille-rose vase, Jiaqing mark, possibly of the period (1796-1820)
    Of compressed form at the centre and very finely decorated with exotic flowers and tendrils on a sgraffito ground, glazed yellow and rose, the interior of the mouth and the base in turquoise, six-character mark in iron-red
    20.5cm high

    Purchased from a well known Asian antique gallery at Hong Kong Peninsula Hotel in the early 80’s; Private Adelaide Collection
