  Southern Alps with Franz Josef Glacier in Centre; Viewed from Okarito Trig Station', additionally labelled 'Issued by Newmans Motors Ltd., White Star Tourist Services, Hokitika'. This c.1930s extensive view of the Main Divide from the west is attributed to Dr. Ebenezer Teichelmann, surgeon superintendent of the Westland Hospital, explorer and mountaineer. In period stained oak frame. 480 x 745.
