Lot Description:A Louis XVI silver saucier, Jean-Francois-Nicolas Carron, Paris, circa 1774; together with an associated silver tray
the boat shaped body with dual pouring lips, flanked by grape and vine leaf cast handles, above a stippled and fluted spreading foot; the ovoid tray with a reeded border, centred by a hole to allow for an attaching bolt, but currently separated from the saucier, above lion's paw feet
the saucier 363 gms, 20 cm wide; the tray 258 gms, 24.5 cm wide -
