  An exceptional 19thC Chinese Qing Dynasty boxed bird cage
  the long rectangular box on dark wood stand with fine mother-of-pearl carved and applied fish detail, the end panelled door removing to reveal the top quality carved zitan removable wooden panel with applied floral carved jade highlight, the gilt wire grill highlighted with blossom carving and a double cruciform handle, further gilt tendril scroll behind, the removable cage of fine cylindrical wooden bars, sliding door, lacquered base tray. The cage 305 x 150 x 200, the outer box 620 x 255 x 330.
