    modified DH-82A. Serial No: RAF N6907. Registration: G-AOIO. Year of Manufacture: 1958. Airframe: N/A. Engine: N/A onsite. Propeller: N/A. History: DH-82A modified to “Thruxton Jackaroo” and thought to be one of six remaining. Aircraft unrestored and disassembled. Airframe components only.
  • Notes:
    The Jackaroo is a four seat cabin adaptation of the DeHavilland DH-82 Tiger Moth powered by a 130Hp Gipsy Major Engine. Designed by Ron Prizeman, the aircraft was produced as one of eighteen by the Jackaroo Aircraft Co. of Thruxton, UK, on 11 July 1957. This aircraft was imported to Australia in the mid-1970’s by Colonel Keith Hatfield. It is one of two of its type currently in Australia, and is quite rare being one of six remaining worldwide.
