A printed book of Persian language poetry, with marbled paper covers with leather trim, 19th century, 28 x 18 cm; 7. A compilation of verse in Arabic script, with marbled paper covers, date unknown, 30 x 19 cm; 8. A Qur’an with fine calligraphy and illumination, northern India, late 18th century, 28 x 18 cm
• Notes:
  The colophon mentions the Emperor Shah Alam II bin Alamgir II, nominal ruler of Mughal India from 1759 to 1806. The manuscript is in fair/good condition with fine Naskh Arabic script in black ink on a gold ground throughout; the opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illuminated cartouches and borders; the gilt tooled leather binding is complete.
