  Of rectangular form with engine turned decoration. With central panel to the lid engraved with the initials 'T.B'. Gilded interior. Applied grape and vine style thumb piece. Inside lid with presentation engraving: " Presented to Mr. Bayley as a token of respect by the pupils of Ablewell House School. Walsall. December 1855." Hallmarked: Birmingham 1835. Maker: Thomas Shaw.

  Condition: Some general surface wear to exterior surfaces including base, Some minor wear to gilding. Closes but not securely. Total weight 51gms.
