    A pair of 19thC Mandarin official’s chairs
    in light timber, the subtly curved arms and top rail supported with panels carved with foliate designs, the square seats raised on square section legs with lotus flower panels carved to a frieze beneath the seat and united by stretchers. Height 1050.
  • Provenance:
    From the Estate collection of Mr Charles Cox (passed away 1992), an Auckland businessman who collected his entire life.
