  The Triumph Bonneville is recognised the world over as one of the most iconic, indeed coolest, of all motorbikes. Evel Knievel jumped the fountains at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas on one, Steve McQueen raced one, and Ann-Margret rode one, as indeed did Batman! The 650cc twin-carburettor, twin-cylinder, Bonneville was one of the fastest production bikes available. To maintain this position against increasing competition from Japanese manufacturers, in 1966 Triumph introduced a new crankshaft, along with a new roller main bearing, high performance cams as standard and lots of other revisions all producing more horse power. There were three model designations for the Bonneville in 1966: the T120R was the road version; the T120C was the off-roader; the T120TT was the competition version, only built for racing in the USA, a stripped down factory light-weight high performance special. This numbers matching West Coast California 1966 Triumph Bonneville T120TT has had a recent engine overhaul, new carburetors and new clutch fitted. The fuel tank has been refinished in the correct style for 1966 (Alaskan White with three Grenadier Red stripes running down the centre-line) and a new seat cover & foam have been fitted. Fitted with lights front and rear and previously road registered in California and NSW, it comes with the original mono block carburettors which have just been overhauled and new alloy mud guards. This motorcycle will be sold unregistered
