  FRANK ARTHUR: An extremely fine 9 carat yellow gold speedway trophy helmet awarded to Frank Arthur for the 1928 Season
  the helmet decorated with relief with 9 carat gold winged speedway rider astride a motorcycle, with engraved laurel to rim, scrolling and engraved "SEASON 1928 WON BY FRANK ARTHUR" and the winners' names of six preliminary races (including Smythe and Lamont) held at various English speedway venues including White City, Harringay and Wimbledon, three won by Authur, the helmet formed around a wooden inner shell with cloth lining label "JAS GROUSE Ltd378/381 Euston Rd PATENT No. 192630", the body stamped with English makers of Goldsmith & Silversmiths Co. Ltd, 1927, 15cm high x 23cm wide x 23cm deep.
