  The HSV Coupé is a high performance grand tourer which was produced by Holden Special Vehicles in Australia from 2001 to 2006. It was based originally based on the Monaro V2 series. Only 234 were built coming standard with a Callaway C4B LS1 making 300kws/510nm at the time it was the most powerful Australian production car, a title it held with later model GTS's and special builds until the LS3 become standard in 08 VE then the w427 at 375kws and now the mighty LSA powered GEN F GTS 430kws
