  edited by John Plummer, published by Messrs Richards & Co. [Sydney, 1880]. Presentation copy to the publisher's son on his 21st Birthday. Fair/Good condition (front cover detached).
• Notes:
  Contains 36 albumen photographs tipped-in on stiff card pages with printed borders, each with a printed title and details on the facing page. Includes 2 group photographs (Australian Governors Present at the Inaugural Ceremony" & "The Vice-Regal Party"), and photographs of the Garden Palace, exterior and interior, and of the exhibits. A similar album is held by the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney. It contains fewer photographs.
