Lot Description:A Magnificent & Rare Chinese Porcelain Bottle Shaped Vase, Yellow Ground, Famille Verte Palette, 18th Century
the elongated pear-shaped body rising from a spreading foot to a long slender neck, painted in aubergine & hues of green, golden pheasant balancing on the branches & a magnolia growing from rocks, the reverse with flying birds, all on a yellow ground, the base incised with a six character mark of Chenghua.

Provenance:Heriot Family, Tasmania, brought from Scotland in mid 19th century, thence by descent
