  • Notes:
    The Bendigo Pottery was established in 1858 by George Duncan Guthrie at what became known as Potters Flat Epsom and is one of the oldest surviving potteries in Australia. Around 1864 it was relocated to its present site at Epsom. The Bendigo Pottery still operates today, both as a working pottery and a tourist attraction. A. G. (E. D.) Middleton’s was the Melbourne agent for the Bendigo Pottery at the time.
