  Charles Pierre van der Stappen - ‘La Source, La Hulpe’, bronze sculpture of a woman water carrier
  the three-dimensional bronze plaque, within an oak stand with tapered base and overhanging top, trees to the background, a goat and ducks to the front, cast impressed signature and entitled, embossed foundry marks for Arthur Krupp.
  The bronze measuring 400 x 80 x 535, the oak frame 615 x 300 x 790.
• Notes:
  Stappen, a noted Belgian sculptor became recognised as the leader of the section of the New Belgian School of Sculpture which infused models derived from Greek and Roman models and in the art of the Italian Renaissance with naturalistic detail and fleeting action.
