  A pair of unusual Japanese Sumida Gawa vases
  flattened baluster form with horn form handles, variable thick glazed tops in black, red and blue with ivory highlights, the body and base with relief children, one with rod, the other trying to hold a large fish, coastal landscape, relief highlights to the reverse, matte ground, impressed character marks to base of each. Height 240.
