  Melbourne Cricket Ground and Grand Stand, 1878', original photograph by Charles Nettleton (1826-1902)
  1878 albumen photograph (36x26cm), showing groundsmen preparing the pitch. Window mounted, framed & glazed, overall 56x48cm. Photograph with minor surface faults, though large attractive view of the MCG, just after the first Test match played there in 1877.
