  Ex. the collection of W.N. Pharazyn, Wellington. William Noel Phazaryn, born in Wellington 1894, served on the Western front in World War I and was awarded the Military Cross. On 26th of November 1919, he married Lydia Helen Hughes Field, the daughter of W.H. Field (the Member of Parliament for Otaki) and his wife Isabel Jane Hodgkins (the sister of Frances Hodgkins).
