  the floral marquetry inlaid hinged lid with ebony ground, the interior with original multiple fitted sections and lids housing a variety of buttons, thimbles, an enamelled silver small mirror, etc., the octagonal flared well on a short turned and carved column and tripod base with scrolling feet and floral carved knees. diameter 480, height 750.
