  An antique bronze seated Buddha
  reputedly 15thC, modelled in the earth touching mudra, an iconic image of Buddhism, good old dark green patina with remnants of gilt, formal tapered head dress, seated upon a lotus throne with damage to base, mounted on later ebonised wood block base. Height 215.
• Notes:
  With certificate of authenticity guaranteeing to be a ‘genuine Thai Antique, Cheingsan period, 15th century’ from the Lex Galleries’ Art, dated February 19, 1982.
