  • Lot Description:
    A 1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GT
Chassis: 03552The iconic flow line design of Pininfarina's Dino 246 GT has seen this vehicle take on cult status. Dedicated to the deceased son of Enzo Ferrari the innovative and elegant lines of this Ferrari create a sensual feel of sportiness and desirability. Total Ferrari production of the 246 GT which started in 1970, was quite large due to its relatively low price point. In all the factory built 2,487 cars but of this total however only 488 were made in right hand drive. This beautiful 1973 Dino 246 GT is one of those rare right hand drive models; chassis number 03552; engine number 1580; gearbox number 734; body number 728. This car has recently received an excellent new and very professional paint job and looks absolutely resplendent, whilst the original nero hide interior still remains in fine condition, though with the addition of headrests to the seats and a correct leather steering wheel as opposed to the original wood rim wheel.03552 has also had a major mechanical overhaul and starts and runs absolutely as it should. The underside of the car is in excellent condition also. This Dino is in very crisp order accompanied by a set of books and a complete and correct tool kit. This absolutely superb right hand drive example of a legendary automotive icon is ready for its next owner to enjoy having undergone an extensive and detailed restoration.
