Lot Description:Rare Wemyss square lidded honeycomb pot decorated with beehives and bees with matching underdish
note: staining to all pieces and underdish has 5 rim glaze chips, impressed 'Wemyss' to base and the underside of the lid is printed with retailer's stamp 'T. Goode & Co, London' early example. -
Provenance:By direct descent from the Ramsay (Baronets)/ Entwisle family of Scotland & Northern England.
