Lot Description:A late 19thC Maori carved patu (hand club)
unusual straight backed blade, with good notch and curved lineal carving, of good weighted hardwood and old patina, plain tapered grip and square chamfered butt. Old repair to blade. Length 410. Being assessed for Y registration. -
