    MINOLTA (Japan): Minolta XD7 35mm SLR Presentation camera
    A black body XD7 presented in July 1981 by Minolta and others. The camera inscribed with details to base and with the recipients name inscribed to the back of the top housing. The camera SN 2114038 with MD 50 f1.7 SN 8258368 and maker's ERC. The Minolta XD7 (XD11 in USA) was the world's first camera with aperture priority and shutter priority together with a fully metered manual mode. Developed in conjunction with Leica, it became the basis for the Leica R4 and other R-series Leicas. The black body version was finished by a special anodizing process licensed from Leitz.
