    Painted at Mowanjum, Western Australia; Private Collection, Western Australia
  • Notes:
    A resident at Mowanjum in the 1960s, Micky Bungkuni was the senior lawman until his death in 1978. Bungkuni and his classificatory son Watty Karuwarra painted with anthropologist John McCaffrey in the mid-1960s (when this work was likely created). Few works by the artist are surviving.
