Lot Description:A pair of Chinese cloisonné caparisoned elephants, Qing Dynasty, 19th century
each one standing four square under saddle and wearing a harness, the ears, etc detachable, surmounted by a ring-handled vase (removable) inscribed 'Jiang family vessel' ('Qian ju')
20cm high, 24cm long; fitted wood stands -
Provenance:From a Sydney collection acquired in Hong Kong before 1962 and passed on by descent
