    A Spanish made ‘Mugica’ Kea gun
    .410g single shot pistol, the barrel with maker’s and other marks, wooden forend and stock. Barrel length 321mm. Note: the barrel has been plugged. C-Class Firearms Licence required (Collectors Licence). Note: Kea guns have a limited range but were popular among farmers to kill keas, the world’s only alpine parrot and native to N.Z. has now become uncommon, it was once killed for bounty due to concerns by the sheep-farming community that it attacked livestock. The Kea received full protection in 1986.
