    An impressive pair of early George III silver Corinthian column candlesticks
    the removable concave square nozzles with applied bead rims and engraved stag's head crest fitting to the scroll and acanthus leaf capitals, the mildly tapered ribbed columns supported by the spreading square bases with further rib, acanthus leaf and scroll decoration, the outer rims with egg and dart detail, weighted felt covered bases. London 1763 and 1765, one by Nicholas Hearnden and Thomas Hening. Some loss of bead detail to base of each.
