  c1880s. Images 200mm x 140mm. Collection includes forty-one gelatin silver prints by the Burton Brothers each mounted seperately to stiff card. Wear, foxing and fading to many images. Scenes include Christchurch, Rimutaka incline, Mount Cook, Lambton Quay, Dunedin, Manawatu Gorge, Oamaru, Lake Wanaka, Fiordland and the Pink and White Terraces. Plus Maori and Polynesian subjects. Also included is one image by notable Christchurch photogrpahers, Standish & Preece, and five other unidentified images. A good collection. AF. FA to G. [46].
