  A Doulton Lambeth stoneware ewer by Mark V. Marshall
  decorated with stylised thistles, the flower heads swelling from the cylindrical body, the leaves in cobalt outlined with trailed slip, mottled brown glaze at the shaped rim and foot, the loop handle with a raised leaf pattern. Impressed factory marks and ‘Art Union of London’ along with incised artist’s initials. Hairline at lower handle joint. Height 265.
