• Lot Description:
  A French silver Art Deco vanity set
  in pig skin travelling case. Comprising jars and brushes, the tops and backs of which are enamelled in striking black and white concentric rondels, or shapes conforming to the objects including hair brushes. The central mirror lifts to reveal a selection of implements, some with ivory handles. The silver with a .950 French fineness mark along with London import marks for 1922 and the mark of George Stockwell for Stockwell & Co., the Finsbury Street importers. Some slight faults. The case with applied monogram and original key.
