Lot Description:A large Ming style squat inverse baluster shaped vase
hand painted in underglaze cobalt with an encircling scene depicting scholars, warriors and a foreigner. A lappet border decorates the foot, the shoulder is decorated with a frieze of flowering tendrils, the short neck with a design of leaves. Height 315, diameter 360. -
